Science - Skin

This week we looked at the structure of skin in science.

The skin keeps the inside of your body inside your body and keeps what's outside of your body outside.

The skin is 2mm thick.

Skin has three layers the first layer is called the epidermis which is really tough, The second layer is called the dermis it has the nerves and sweat glands, the third layer is all the fat.

This is what skin looks like if you looked at it really close.
