Eureka stockade - First draft

I am learning to write reports. this is my first draft on a report on the Eureka Stockade. ( Mums suggestions and mark ups are in capitals)

The eureka stockade is a important part of Australia's history. The date of the rebellion is the 2nd of december 1854.

The Eureka stockade was in Ballerat,Victoria. The actual stockade was built on baker hill. They mined gold. They called themselves the diggers. (WHAT WAS LIFE LIKE FOR A DIGGER?)

The men came together at about 8 o'clock (WHAT DATE?) and created a distinct place where the men could muster and be drilled. (WHY DID THEY DO THIS? WHAT EVENTS LEAD TO THIS?) There was 10000 diggers.

The battle lasted for 15 mins. WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE REBELLION? WHAT WERE THEY HOPING TO ACHIEVE? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE?  HOW MANY PEOPLE DIED? HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE IN THE STOCKADE WHEN IT WAS RAIDED?  WHERE WERE EVERYONE ELSE?

The flag was a southern cross with a blue background.

IN THE REPORT OUTLINE IT ASKS YOU TO USE A PICTURE AS WELL. I GAVE YOU A LINK TO A HEAP OF PICTURES TO INSERT. PLEASE GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE LINKS AND INFORMATION.
