English lesson at The Jamaica Inn, Bodmin, Cornwall

Mum makes sure we learn stuff every day no matter where or what we do.

We looked at different sayings today.

If something 'graces' a wall it means to make it beautiful on the wall.

A wolf in sheeps clothing means someone is not what they look like they are. Like if you were a wolf and you disguise yourself as a sheep and imagined you were part of the flock and when the time came you would attack.

We saw that the Vicar was a wolf in sheeps clothing on an explanation about him in the Jamaica Inn Story. He was called that because he is a vicar and they are normally kind and follow the law. But he used to kill people.
