"Hey I didn’t get any coal…. I’m amazed."
Again this is not a Lilly Lou says – but something that Morgan said after reviewing all of his presents and considering the amount of room that Santa had to have in his bag.
I asked Morgan why he was amazed and he seriously looked at me with his big blue eyes and said I was a bit mean to Lilly this year.
Lilly then piped up – hands on hips, “Well, I’ve been good and I don’t need any coal.”
Morgan just looked at her and shook his head….. as did we all…. Then we ran round the corner and laughed lots.
Just in case you don't know - it was a threat that if you had been bad during the year - Santa would only leave coal in your stocking.
